Creative writing for schools and classes for adults

Marisa is combining her creative writing skills with her decades-long experience in teaching as a professor, and is offering school visits. Marisa is able to host creative writing sessions on the following topics:

  • Writing and publishing fantasy for YA and adults

  • Writing historical fiction, and turning history into fiction

  • Writing mystery, scary, and horror fiction

  • Writing in the tradition of classic British fantasy for the 21st century

All speaking or workshop events can be adapted to suit the student’s needs.

For school events, please bear in mind that her YA fantasy novel, The Binding Spell is recommended for age 14+.
